Martijn Barendregt is an musician/composer situated in the city of The Hague. After playing guitar for several years he got more and more in to electronic music. His interest in electronic music started with a small guitar-effects pedal, a speaker and a microphone connected in a feedback-loop. He studies Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. His main subject is feedback-systems in both the digital and analogue domain. A great deal of his oeuvre consists of improvisations where either digital or analogue forms of feedback are used as the basis of his performances. Next to electronic music he works on the music for the documentary “Zout Water” by Anne Fehres and follows Jazz classes. This year (2013) he will be graduating. (soundcloud.com/martijn-barendregt)

Fani Konstantinidou is a sound artist – composer of electronic/electroacoustic music, living and working in The Hague, the Netherlands. Her artistic research focuses on conceptual composition, sonic images and the perception/imagination of the listener in electroacoustic music. Currently, she is expanding this research by investigating how the cultural/social and individual differences of the audience can affect the listening process. Through her music she explores the power of space and time on each individual sound, especially as compositional tools that affect listener’s perception. She has a particular interest in the combination of computer generated sounds with physical sound sources.
