éphémère

Ephémère is a series of surprising evenings about temporary and contemporary forms of art. From acoustic to electronic music, from baroque improvisation to new music and avant-garde, from contemporary dance to digital art, Ephémère is one of the last and finest places for what is important to be presented at that specific moment. Ephémère has been a staple at Studio LOOS since 2009. Since its initiation, the series has hosted a wide range of artists from a variety of artistic backgrounds. Ephémère takes place at Studio Loos, usually on the second Thursday of the month. The series is a production of the LOOS Foundation and it is organised and curated by Marie Guilleray and Bjarni Gunnarsson.

jams 2009-2010

Jams was a concert series, which eventually evolved into Ephémère. Jams was an initiative to present new jazz and improvised music projects. It was established with a necessity to gather musicians and audiences interested in and involved with jazz and improvised music, new works, works in progress. The series looked to contribute to the live jazz and improvised music scene in The Hague.
