OONAFUZZA
Daniele Martini:
Tenor saxophone, keyboard, samples and effects
Vasilis Stefanopoulos:
Electric bass, double bass, effects
Roommates at the time of the conservatory, Vasilis Stefanopoulos and Daniele Martini found each other again a dozen years later with more musical experience and a plethora of electronic effects.
This beautiful reunion was both human and musical, and their respective musical explorations spontaneously merged in this project resulting in an approach that is as rigorous as nonchalant and casual.
Travelling through the most abstract experimentation as well as into more melodic endeavours, OonaFuzza's music presents itself as a bewitching and refreshing sound journey.

GLIMLICHT
Being a visual and sound artist for quite some time now, Glimlicht finds himself seeing and hearing not a distinction between them anymore.
He uses analogue means to get his sounds and builds upon them with patience, while brewing cough syrup with his guitar. Fragmentation, decay and melancholia are topics that seem to always return to his work.

SOHRAB MOTABAR & JEYONG JUNG
Sohrab Motabar and Jeyong Jung are algorithmic/computer music composers who live in The Hague. They studied together at the Institute of Sonology and, from 2019, along with other colleagues of theirs in The Hague, produce and release a software package called ACToolkit that runs on programming language Max (cycling74.com). Through this package concerning the algorithmic composition and sound synthesis, Motabar and Jung put forward the statistical approaches that they were developing throughout their studies at the Institute and afterwards. By doing so, they want to share their methodologies on deriving musical materials from dynamic systems and a view that probability distribution functions can play the role of interface between composer and computer. Although duo music performance of theirs had never taken place so far, at the 41st Kernel Panic Motabar and Jung will present an audio/visual-piece performed live using the systems employing the techniques suggested by ACToolkit.
Sohrab Motabar is from Tehran. With regards to states of suspension and dazzled motion his music resonates like a maze for the listener. He composes with algorithms, chaotic functions and non-standard synthesized sounds as a way to give rise to obscured dimensions and experimental modes of perceiving and listening. In 2018 he graduated from the Institute of Sonology. In addition, he also actively collaborates in select projects with artists from other disciplines.

Jeyong Jung devises algorithms and employs computer-aided processes in carrying out composition processes. Jung makes use of real-time probabilistic methods and statistical constructs in pursuance of executing non-standard sound synthesis. The pieces of his composed at the Analogue Studio of the Institute of Sonology comprise his main repertoire.
