Content:
The Crab Summer schools workshops “Crab Summer-lab” will consist of two consecutive days of music making centred around a theme of the sounds of the Hague and concludes with a concert for the participant’s parents and family members. During the summer school participants will get the opportunity to work together as sound investigators and composers. Each day a new musical piece will be designed, developed and established with the use of electronic sound generators. Through this process participant’s will be able to explore making sounds with various electronic instruments as well as learn about music compositional techniques. On the last day participant’s will get the opportunity to perform their compositions to a live audience. Participants will also receive their very own electronic instrument and the option of purchasing a Crab T-shirt to take home.

Social distancing – Covid19 protocol:
Following the protocol outlined by the RIVM.
• Instruments sterilized and hand sanitizer offered at the entrance and throughout workshop
• All chairs, tables and working surfaces are sterilized before and after each workshop session.
• 1.5m distance between participants and leaders maintained throughout workshop
• In concert, max 30 people incl. participants and leaders
• Parents must reserve concert tickets
